How long before my wedding should I have Botox?
Ask the person injecting you, and ask them early. We do not answer this one, because injectables are not our field and the answer depends on your face, your history and what is being done. Any studio that is not administering the treatment and still quotes you a number is guessing on your behalf about a decision that cannot be undone before a date. What we can tell you is the part we do control: we ask for two weeks after neuromodulator injections and four weeks after fillers before manual treatment.
That is a deliberately unsatisfying answer to a question people want a number for, so it is worth saying why we hold it.
- Botulinum toxin is a prescription medicine.1 Deciding when to administer one is clinical judgement, and it belongs to the qualified provider doing the assessment rather than to the studio you booked a facial with.
- The right interval is not the same for everyone. It depends on whether you have had it before, what you are treating, how you responded last time, and whether a review appointment is likely. None of that is visible to us.
- The cost of a wrong number is asymmetric. Nobody remembers the studio that declined to guess. Everybody remembers the one whose number left them no room to fix something.
Four questions get you a real answer rather than a rule of thumb. When would you want me injected, given the date? Do you want to see me for a review, and how long after? If something needs adjusting, how much time does that add? And is there anything about my history that changes your usual answer? Bring the date to that appointment and the sequencing resolves itself.
We can tell you where manual work sits once your injector has given you their date. Book Toronto · Book Los Angeles
How this fits with manual work
Sous La Face asks for two weeks after neuromodulator injections such as Botox, and four weeks after fillers, before manual treatment. That is not a scheduling preference. It is so that the injected product has settled where the injector intended before anyone works over the area with their hands.
So the order is straightforward once you have a date from your injector: injectables happen when they say, then our two-week or four-week interval runs, then the final lymphatic appointment sits twenty-four to seventy-two hours before your wedding. Tell your injector that manual work is planned, and tell us what you have had and when. Between the two answers there is no gap left to guess at.
Sous La Face does not provide injectables, does not refer for them, and has no interest in whether you have them. We are a lymphatic facial sculpting studio, and the boundary of what we will advise on is the boundary of what we actually do. This page exists because the question is asked constantly and because sending you to the right person is more useful than an invented number.
The complete timeline, including where injectables sit relative to everything else, and why the last four days is a hard cutoff for anything new.
