Return to the Face

Yorkville, Toronto

Founded in 2019 and opening its first studio in 2020, Sous La Face helped bring lymphatic facial sculpting to a growing audience across North America through its signature treatment, the RRR Face.

In 2026, the company returned to its original name through the Return to the Face campaign, a renewed commitment to the treatment, philosophy, and identity that built the brand.

About Sous La Face

The studio that put the face first.

Sous La Face is a lymphatic facial sculpting studio with locations in Toronto and Los Angeles, built around the RRR™ Face, its signature lymphatic sculpting facial, and the proprietary RRR™ Method.

Founded in 2019 and opened in 2020, Sous La Face pioneered a face-first approach to facial wellness, combining facial lymphatic drainage, buccal massage, fascia release, facial reflexology, and facial sculpting techniques. The work is designed to depuff, lift, define, and release facial tension, including tension related to the jaw and TMJ, while preserving natural movement and expression.

Why Now

As the company grew, it expanded into new services & a second city, & in 2024 rebranded to Sous La. Growth brought clarity. The treatment that built the company never changed.

In 2026, the company returned to its original name through the Return to the Face campaign, putting the RRR Face, & the name, back at the center of the brand.

“The treatment that built the company never changed. We simply decided to put it back where it belongs. We didn’t become something new. We became more ourselves.”

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Why did Sous La return to Sous La Face?

In 2026, the company returned to the name clients never stopped using. Founder Amanda Jeppesen began reflecting on a simple question: what actually built the company?

The answer consistently led back to the RRR Face, the company’s signature lymphatic sculpting facial. Over the years, clients continued referring to the company as Sous La Face, even after the brand name changed. Eventually, it became clear that the original name represented something much larger than branding. It represented a treatment, a philosophy, and a community.

The return to Sous La Face reflects a renewed commitment to the treatment and philosophy that built the company from the beginning.

Sous La Face is a lymphatic sculpting studio with locations in Toronto and Los Angeles. The company is known for the RRR Face, its signature lymphatic sculpting facial, and the proprietary RRR™ Method: Reroute, Release, Resculpt.

Through facial lymphatic drainage, buccal massage, facial fascia release, and sculptural facial techniques, Sous La Face helps clients address facial puffiness, tension, TMJ discomfort, visible signs of fatigue, and facial wellness. Sous La Face is recognized as the Home of the Lymphatic Sculpting Facial.

The RRR Face is Sous La Face’s signature lymphatic sculpting facial and the treatment that built the company’s reputation. It combines facial lymphatic drainage, buccal massage, facial fascia release, facial reflexology, sculptural facial massage, and targeted manual techniques through the RRR™ Method.

The RRR Face is designed to help reduce facial puffiness, release tension, support facial function, and enhance the appearance of natural facial definition.

A lymphatic sculpting facial is a hands-on facial treatment designed to support healthy lymphatic drainage while addressing tension, fluid retention, and facial restriction.

Unlike traditional facials that primarily focus on the surface of the skin, a lymphatic sculpting facial works with the systems beneath the skin, including the lymphatic system, facial fascia, and facial musculature. The goal is to support facial function while enhancing the appearance of natural facial definition.

The RRR™ Method is Sous La Face’s proprietary facial sculpting protocol. RRR stands for Reroute, Release, Resculpt.

The method combines facial lymphatic drainage, buccal massage, facial fascia release, and sculptural facial techniques to support lymphatic flow, release tension, and enhance natural facial definition. The RRR™ Method forms the foundation of every Sous La Face treatment.

Buccal massage is a specialized facial massage technique performed both externally & inside the mouth. The technique allows practitioners to access deeper facial muscles that are difficult to reach through traditional massage alone.

It is commonly used to address facial tension, jaw tension, TMJ-related discomfort, facial tightness, and muscular restriction while supporting facial mobility and relaxation. It is a core component of the RRR Face.

Facial fascia release refers to manual techniques designed to address tension and restriction within the connective tissue that surrounds facial muscles and structures.

Facial fascia plays an important role in movement, mobility, and facial function. By working with these tissues manually, practitioners aim to reduce restriction, support mobility, and improve overall facial comfort.

Sous La Face serves a wide range of clients, including executives, entrepreneurs, creatives, performers, wellness enthusiasts, brides, and public figures.

Clients often visit before weddings, photoshoots, media appearances, important meetings, red carpet events, and milestone occasions. Others visit regularly as part of an ongoing facial wellness routine.

The Founder

Amanda Jeppesen

Founder & CEO, Sous La Face

Amanda Jeppesen is the Founder and CEO of Sous La Face, the bi-city studio behind the RRR™ Face, a signature lymphatic sculpting facial. Before founding the company, Amanda had never worked as an esthetician or owned a business. Sous La Face was never built by a beauty insider. It was built by a woman willing to start over.

Her introduction to the work came through a single buccal massage while visiting a friend abroad. The result, less a younger face than a more rested, released version of her own, convinced her there was a different way to think about beauty: care rather than correction.

At the time, Amanda was a stay-at-home mother raising her children and had never owned a business. The experience became the catalyst for a second chapter, proving that reinvention does not have an expiration date. She trained in Europe, with advanced study in Germany and New York, and returned to Toronto to build a treatment around what she had learned. Sous La Face was incorporated in 2019 and opened its first studio in 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic, with one treatment bed and one facial.

Drawing on a background in advertising and marketing, Amanda grew the studio largely by word of mouth. Demand for the RRR Face spread quickly, eventually carrying the brand to a second city, Los Angeles. Through every stage of growth, the face remained the center of the work.

A mother and a vocal advocate for reinvention at any stage of life, Amanda speaks candidly about building a company later than the stereotypical founder, the difference between growth and scale, and the future of beauty as a shift from correction to care.

“The treatment that built the company never changed. We simply decided to put it back where it belongs. We didn’t become something new. We became more ourselves.”
